Cascade Havanese Club

Welcome to the Cascade Havanese Club!
The Cascade Havanese Club (CHC) was formed in 2003 and accepted by the American Kennel Club and the Havanese Club of America in service to the greater Puget Sound area in the state of Washington.The Club is open to all who are in good standing with the American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the purposes of the CHC. We come together on a regular basis to share our love for the breed, learn from others, hold specialty shows, and enjoy our dogs! Up Coming Meetings for All Friends of Havanese:  

CHC is presenting a seminar titled, "Genetic Diversity 101 & The Havanese," on Zoom, February 7, 2023 at 5 PM PST.  Kat Smith will be presenting the seminar.  It's designed for beginners!  
There will be:
   - Introductory information on individual diversity and population diversity
   - The UC Davis and Embark offerings
   - Some thoughts on making breeding decisions with diversity testing

CHC will be holding an eye clinic (CAER) with Dr. Kice on June 4, 2023 for Havanese.  Check back for updates, please.
